Brett Callaughan, Senior Engineer at Malwarebytes has over 10 years of experience fighting malware front-on and behind the scenes. Brett was appointed Senior System Engineer for Malwarebytes in Australia and New Zealand in late 2016. Based in Sydney, Brett is responsible for enabling the company’s partners and customers to fully leverage the potential of their Malwarebytes advanced malware prevention and remediation solution by providing regional, technical support, architecture design and solution support services. Brett has more than 10 years’ experience in the IT industry and was previously Pre-Sales Engineer at Palo Alto Networks for more than five years.  During this time, he helped enterprise customers and MSSP’s dramatically improve their security posture and provided insight into the global and local threat landscape in order to help solve the ongoing security problems being faced. Prior, he worked as Technical Pre-Sales Consultant at Expand Networks, HP Business Pre-Sales (HPBPSA) at Ethan Group within the organisation’s Infrastructure Design and Integration organisation, and as IP Core Network Engineer at Ericsson.   2018 Cybercrime: What’s Coming Your Way As long as cyber-criminals can make a profit, businesses and their data will always be a target.
